Have you already been on the Khreshchatyk street? It is main street in Kyiv. Here are many shops, cafes, coffee houses. There are no cars on the weekends as traffic is forbidden. Khreshchatyk is pedestrian then. And there are many artists on the road: musicians, artists, magicians, dancers. Walking in theweekends is very ineresting. Moreover, chestnuts grows on the Khreshchatyk. This tree is the symbol of the city.
Main square of the city is near the Khreshchatyk. Her name is Independence Square. Very often concerts are organized here. And even under the ground there is a whole shopping mall. His name is Globus. And have you noticed a high column with a girl's figure holding a branch of a cliff. This is the Independence Monument of Ukraine.
