poetry, travel phrases, reading and speaking class. Every Sunday we have a very special class with an invited
person who shares Ukrainian traditions and folk art with us. We sing songs together, read books, and have

What to eat in Ukraine?
Ukrainian cuisine is very tasty. The most famous first course is borscht. It is a red soup, where there are vegetables and must beets. They eat borsch with sour cream and bread with lard.
The most famous second course is dumplings. Dumplings are a piece of dough with filling inside. Filling may be different: cheese, potatoes, cabbage, cherries.
Ukrainians love to eat sweet. We have a lot of desserts. A favorite Ukrainian dessert is sweet pancakes. Pancakes can be different: with cheese, with strawberries, with cherries.
